Last sunday we began writing our ninth song for our long long long overdue LP, "Constantly Fucked." Things were going smoothly and we wrote about three solid parts that we're all very pleased with. On monday afternoon the next day, I get a text from our drummer, Eric. He's at the hospital. He crushed his left index finger in a hydraulic press at work. He's alright, but fractured the knuckle of his finger in three places and has to wear a splint for 6-8 weeks.
Our goal is to write 10 songs for the LP. We're so close I can taste it. There's no one to blame for this, just like there was no one to blame when Eric got mauled by a monkey. All we can do is be grateful that he's okay, shrug our shoulders and say....Constantly Fucked.
So CAI will be on a brief break from writing until Eric's finger heals. Let's hope nothing else happens to Eric or any of us for that matter. Clouds of shit seem to be pretty fond of us. I posted some videos below to end on a more positive note. Check back for updates soon!
